Saurav Ganguly feliciates Harvard House Sports’ Women Team
Mr. Sourav Ganguly, former Captain of Indian Cricket Team, proudly felicitated Harvard House Sports Women Team on their remarkable maiden participation and achievement in CAB Tournament.
Harvard House Sports managed the Victoria Sporting Club Women Team, an affiliated unit of the Cricket Association of Bengal for the very first time. The team played exceptionally well and won two important matches against City athletic Club and Salkia Friends. The Felicitation Ceremony was organised on April 22, 2025 at Harvard House Sports, Kolkata and graced by Mr. Sourav Ganguly, as the Chief Guest.
During the event Mr. Sourav Ganguly presented medals on behalf of Harvard House Sports and lauded the young team for their outstanding performance, which has brought immense pride to Victoria Cricket Club and Harvard House Sports.
He also awarded trophies to Harvard House Sports ‘s Boy for The Best Players in different Catagories. These were Tattam Singh for the Best Player Under-9, Ibrahim Moin Under-10, Akash Chakraborty for Under-11 and Sanglaab Basu for Under-12, Abdullah Moin for Under-13 and Aryaveer Agarwal for under-14 Best Player Category.
In his address, Mr. Sourav Ganguly commended Harvard House Sports’ initiatives under the leadership of its Patron-In-Chief, Dr. Moin Bin Moksud for nurturing Cricket talent and raising the bar for the sport in the state. He also acknowledged the dedication of Harvard House Sports head coach Satrajit Lehri and coach Mithilish Kamath, for their vital role in shaping the team’ success.
Harvard House Sports also took the initiative of assisting Nekjan Khatun, Captain of Victoria Sporting Club Women’s team for her training gears and also her long awaited shoulder surgery.
The event was sponsored by Mr. Aqib of Aquamix and attended by several sportsmen, dignitaries and CAB officials.
