Kolkata, 3rd March 2025 – Club Green, forward-thinking organization dedicated to sustainability, ethical consumption and environmental awareness, made a grand debut on 3rd March 2025 at Five Mad Men (5MM), Kolkata. This highly anticipated event brought together eco-conscious individuals,sustainability advocates, industry leaders, and green businesses to foster collaboration and innovation in environmental entrepreneurship. The event was graced by Mr. Debasish Sen, IAS Officer and former Managing Director of HIDCO, Dr. Swati Nandi Chakraborty,Environmental Consultant for the Cantonment Board (Government of India), Mr. Kaung Htut Aung, Economic Attaché and Consul of Myanmar, Kolkata, alongside Mr. Arun Mukherje, Director of Chaigram, mentor of TABP & TABPS, and a serial investor, Dr. Ruby Ray, Chief Club Green Warrior among other distinguished guests. The theme of the launch, “The Rise of Eco-Preneurship in India,” highlights the growing importance of sustainable business practices in today’s world. The event featured the unveiling of Club Green’s official logo by the eminent dignitaries, followed by an engaging discussion on eco-preneurship as the
next big movement in India and how Club Green aims to lead the way forward. Additionally, guests
witnessed a unique upcycling fashion showcase,demonstrating the transformation of discarded fabrics into stylish, sustainable clothing.As part of its core commitments, Club Green is set to plant 10,000 trees, ensuring greener cities and cleaner air. It will also champion a zero-waste initiative, revolutionizing sustainability by minimizing waste generation through innovation and community action. Furthermore, the organization is fostering strategic green partnerships, uniting businesses in a collective effort to reduce carbon footprints and promote environmentally responsible practices.
